As Unitarian Universalists, our forebearers were radicals, heritics and iconoclasts. We bucked entrenched religious norms and theologies and now we are a living tradition and faith. What of our faith heritage today and for our future? How we will live out our covenants?
Heritage of Spirit
October 22nd at 10:30 a.m. Eastern
Since the dawn of time, people have woven Spirit into their daily lives. Karen Armstrong wrote in "A History of God: the 4,000 year quest of Judiasm, Christianity and Islam": “each generation has to create the image of God that works for it.” What is the gift of our heritage of Spirit? Come for a lively multi-gen service - all about Spirit!
Heritage of Memory
October 29th at 10:30 a.m. Eastern
We are blessed to carry on the legacy of those who have gone before us, their heritage our mantle to cradle in our care. In this All Souls service, we build the alter of remembrance with pictures and mementoes of those who are on the other side of life. Please bring your cherished representations of our beloved ancestors and those we shall remember this day.
Check back here later in the month for our November Service Schedule!
