View some samples of our Order of Service from recent Sunday services:
First Fifteens: Three to four Sundays a month, all ages join in worship in the Sanctuary for the "First Fifteen" minutes, after which those in pre-K through 5th grade follow their teachers to their classrooms. Our service for Canvass Sunday on March 3, 2019, was a "First Fifteen". View this OOS.
Chalice Chapels: One Sunday in most months, children and youth gather in Founders Hall for worship where they will sing, share, and create together. Our service on February 17, 2019, was a "Chalice Chapel" Sunday, where the children and youth were not present in the Sanctuary. View this OOS.
Multigenerational Services: All gather together in the Sanctuary for these services. Our service on January 20, 2019, was multigenerational, and all ages remained in worship together for the entirety of the service. View this OOS.
Special Programming: Occasionally, when marking certain holidays or observances, or when plans for the service and religious education don't fit into one of the above patterns, we have a special Order of Service and "Special Programming" for Faith Formation for Children and Youth. The most recent of such services was held on December 16, 2018. View this OOS.
UUCR holds a variety of different services throughout the year, and the Order of Service is flexible enough to be modified to fit the worship needs of the day.
