May 11: "Creation Theology" by Rev. Lynn Strauss

Mothers Day is a good time to think about the creative and generative responsibilities and opportunities throughout our lives. Liberal theologies hold that we share with the divine the creative energies of the universe. We are both created and creators. What are the opportunities for creation in your life?

Today we will also celebrate the Bridging of our senior high graduates into the community of Young Adult UU's.

May 18: "Music Sunday" by Jennifer Rodgers Beach

The Adult Choir will sing a rich variety of pieces from traditional to classical and from humorous to lush. Director of Music, Jennifer Rodgers Beach, will explore how some of the guidelines for good singing are often the guidelines for good living as well. It will be a morning to use all your senses!

May 25: "Final Breath" by Stephen Sinclair

Stephen Sinclair, intern minister, will reflect on death and dying. Stephen brings his experience in hospital chaplaincy, as well as his own spiritual practice of centering breath to bear on this important topic. Greg Yoder will be our soloist.

June 1: "Change: A Spiritual Challenge" by Rev. Lynn Strauss

We will welcome our Director of Religious Education, Deborah Kahn, back from her five months’ sabbatical and we will send our intern minister, Stephen Sinclair, off to his commencement at Meadville Lombard Theological School. Reverend Strauss will offer a reflection on the joys and possibilities of spiritual transformation. Steve Einhorn will share music on the trumpet, and Stephen Sinclair will sing for us. This is a First Fifteen and the last day of religious education classes before our summer program begins. (A Good Sunday to Bring a Friend to UUCR!)
