How do we live our values within an immoral economic reality? What is the purpose and effectiveness of the "Occupy Movement"? Rev. Lynn Strauss will reflect on these questions in light of our commitment to build a Beloved Community. Sue Richards, Celtic harp, will offer special music.

Preschool–fifth grade will gather in Founders Hall for Children's Worship before classes. Sixth grade–Sr. High will gather in the lower level of Building 5 for Youth Worship before classes.

Rev. Lynn Strauss will explore the problem of immigration reform and the future of the DREAM Act in Maryland. What are we called to do as a community of faith committed to equality and justice? The Adult Choir will sing.

There will be a discussion following the service. Please bring your coffee and return to the Sanctuary.

Led by Alonzo Smith. Whitney Moore Young Jr. (July 31, 1921 – March 11, 1971) was an American civil rights leader and a Unitarian Universalist. As Executive Director of the National Urban League from 1961 to 1971, he strove to bridge the deep division between black separatists and integrationists and made the League a full partner in the civil rights movement.
