Beacon House Task Force

The Task Force supports the programs of Beacon House Community Ministry, Inc. in the Edgewood Terrace neighborhood in Northeast Washington, D.C. Founded by Rev. Donald Robinson in 1991, this inner city Unitarian Universalist Community Ministry provides after school activities, tutoring and mentoring to at-risk children. Volunteers from UUCR conduct arts and crafts activities for children ages 5-10 on the fourth Saturday of the month during the school year. Task Force members also conduct an annual Holiday toy collection.
