About 20 persons attended the meeting on January 28, 2006. We split into three discussion groups, with each group taking a different question. The questions discussed were:
1) What does it mean to be a pacifist?
2) What is right and wrong with the media?
3) Is it possible to atone for historical wrong?
Two questions that were proposed but not discussed will be carried forward to the next month's meeting to prime the list of questions. They were:
4) Is bias against those unlike ourselves due to insecurity?
5) What is personal happiness?
The remaining unselected question proposed at the January meeting was:
6) Can we separate the Judicial from the Political?
This last questions will not automatically be carried forward to the questions list of the next meeting, but participants are free to propose any of them again if they wish.
